DOWNLOADABLE
SPORTSMANSHIP PAMPHLETS NOW AVAILABLE!
The
Maine Principals' Association Sportsmanship Committee has developed
several pamphlets that schools may use to promote sportsmanship.
The links below are separate pamphlets which are targeted at athletes,
students, parents, coaches, cheerleaders, and fans and
may be downloaded by schools that wish to hand them out. There is
a place on the front of each brochure for a school's name and logo.
It is hoped that this resource will be used by schools to help curb
some of the unacceptable behaviors that some people exhibit at interscholastic
contests. The Sportsmanship Committee welcomes feedback on this
endeavor and suggestions for other projects. The contact person
for the committee is Jeff Sturgis.
