Professional Management Committee
Professional Division Management Committee – The Professional Division Management Committee shall be composed of the following individuals:
- Two active members of the Division of Professional Activities from each of the geographic regions identified in the MPA Bylaws, representation to be divided equally between elementary and secondary members and may include at least one assistant principal, one teaching principal, one career and technical education center director, and one member whose primary responsibility is as a middle level principal;
- The President, President-elect, and the immediate past President shall be ex officio members of the Professional Division Management Committee;
- The NASSP Coordinator shall be an ex officio member of the Professional Division Management Committee;
- The NAESP State Representative shall be an ex officio member of the Professional Division Management Committee;
- A liaison member of the Maine Department of Education;
- A liaison member from the Maine School Superintendents’ Association; and
- In the event any active member of the Association is serving on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Elementary School Principals or the National Association of Secondary School Principals, such active member shall be an ex officio member of the Professional Division Management Committee.
