First National Bank partners with MPA to host Golf Championships





MPA set to crown state champions October 9th and 10th

AUGUSTA, ME (October 6, 2020)—The Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) is pleased to announce that First National Bank will serve as a supporting partner for the state’s high school state golf championships.  State team and individual championships scheduled for Oct. 9 in Class A and Oct. 10 for Classes B and C at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro.

 

“We are proud to provide the support needed for these events in a year that is unique in so many obvious ways for us all,” said Tony McKim, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Bank.  “It’s imperative that we show our high school student-athletes that we support them striving for greatness in academics and athletics.”

 

“Tony and his team at First National Bank understand our mission,” said Mike Burnham, Executive Director, Interscholastic Division of the MPA.   “We are humbled and grateful for their support this year, and we look forward to building a long-lasting partnership that supports their work in our great state, too.”
