The Maine Principals’ Association (MPA) is pleased to announce a new, multi-year partnership with Maine Savings. The partnership will add support to and be highlighted at the MPA’s Maine Savings State Track & Field Championships held each Spring across the state for the association’s three classes.

“At Maine Savings, we believe strongly in giving back to the communities we serve, and we know that we can positively impact the many student-athletes who represent these communities so well,” said President Vanessa Madore.  “Committing to leading the Maine Savings State Track & Field Championships for many years to come allows us to enhance the championship experience while providing our employees opportunities to support the future leaders of Maine.”

“More than 2,800 student-athletes from our member high schools participate in their high school’s track and field program each year,” said Mike Burnham, Executive Director of the MPA. “Those who make it to the Maine Savings State Track & Field Championships are the best of the best, and we are appreciative for Maine Savings’ support of this sport that serves so many and encourages individual athleticism, health and wellness, and teamwork throughout the school year.”

In addition to serving as the title sponsor of the MPA Maine Savings State Track & Field Championships starting in the Spring of 2023, Maine Savings will have a presence on-site at nearly all of the MPA’s 60+ championship events and online for Championships streamed via the NFHS Network and WHOU.live.
